MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Middletown Police are investigating a fatal Wednesday night car verses pedestrian accident.
Investigators say 28-year-old Daryl Franklin was driving a 2014 Dodge Durango headed southbound on Newfield Street when he struck a 68-year-old man crossing the road.
The victim was transported to Middlesex Hospital for treatment. He was later pronounced deceased.
The victim's identity has not been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
