
(Meriden, Conn.WTIC)-Meriden Police have apprehended three city residents on outstanding warrants and a fourth individual wanted by New London Police.Thursday night just before eight, police say they observed a vehicle taken without the owner's permission. It had been associated with individuals facing outstanding firearms warrants.Police followed the car as it entered the driveway at 42 Forest Street. Indidivuals matching those with outstanding warrants entered the home. Officers contacted the homeowner, advising the person that those entering it faced outstanding warrants.When officers entered the home they found Luis Pellot sitting on the couch. He was taken into custody. Under the warrant, he's charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of ammunition, unlawful discharge of a firearm and second-degree Breach of Peace.During a secondary search of the home, police discovered Norberto Pellot Jr. He was hiding in the basement under a large batch of clothing. The warrant charges him with second-degree Breach of Peace.Police also discovered that Norberto Pellot Sr had violated a Protective Order.Police also identified a fourth person inside the home that was in the vehicle. Michael Escobales had outstanding warrants out of New London, including Strangulation and other charges. Meriden Police had no other information on Escobales. He was transferred to the New London Police Department.
