MERIDEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ A cohort of students now has to quarantine after a student tested positive for COVID-19.
Officials at the Lincoln Middle School in Meriden say parents sent a student to school even though they were waiting for the results of a COVID-19 test, which later came back positive. All students in that cohort now have to quarantine for 14 days.
In a video release, the school says more students could have been exposed to the coronavirus if they did not have cohorts.
