(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - More flu-related deaths have been reported in Connecticut.
The state Department of Public Health, in it's weekly summary, shows six residents succumbed to the illness for the week ending last Saturday, January 11.
A total of 171 patients were hospitalized, 643 for the season that began in August.
No pediatric deaths were reported in the last week and those who have died so far this season were all adults over the age of 25.
DPH says Hartford, Fairfield, and New Haven Counties have reported the most positive lab tests, in that order.
