GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - A mother and her child are recovering after they were wounded in a drive-by shooting Thursday morning at a Glastonbury hotel.

Police say the woman and her toddler-- sitting in a stroller-- were hit by the gunfire shortly after 10 a.m. in the parking lot of the Homewood Suites on Glastonbury Boulevard.

Police say it appears to be a targeted attack; they don't believe there's any threat to the public.

Police are searching for two suspects. Their vehicle is described as a newer, dark-colored Ford SUV.

The woman was taken to Hartford Hospital. The toddler was taken to Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Both are expected to recover, according to police.
