Motorcycle Operator Seriously Injured

WILLINGTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Connecticut State Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that injured a Willington woman.

Officials say 38-year-old Sarah Caine was headed traveling south on Route 32, from Stafford into Willington. At some point, she lost control and went off the road. Caine struck a metal gaurd rail and fell off the bike.

The motorcycle stopped about a half-mile away, at the corner of Old River Road and Route 32.

Although Caine was wearing a helmet, she sustained undisclosed serious injuries.

No other vehicles or people were involved.
