
WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ State Police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist Sunday evening.
Jesse Stotz, 31, of Wallingford was riding a motorcycle in the right lane on I-95 Northbound near Exit 44 in West Haven when he lost control of the bike. State Police say Stotz was negotiating a right curve, lost control, skidded, and went into the pavement.
Stotz, who officials say was not wearing a helmet, was separated from the motorcycle and struck the pavement in the right lane.
A West Haven paramedic pronounced him deceased at the scene of the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
