KILLINGLY, Conn (WTIC Radio)_ A Killingly man is in custody after State Police Troop D and The Department of Corrections did a compliance check on him.

When authorities entered 34-year-old Keith "Silk" Quinones residence on Coomer Hill Road Monday night around 9:45, they spotted, in plain view, a large bag of crack cocaine amounting to approximately 100 grams.

A further check of the residence turned up a digital scale, packaging materials, and a cell phone.

Quinones has been charged with possession of narcotics and operating a drug factory.

He was released on a $50,000-bond, but was taken into custody by Parole Officers.

Quinones is to appear in Danielson Superior Court on May 15, 2019.
