(New Britain, Conn./WTIC) - Effective Tuesday, New Britain City Hall will be closed for the next two weeks.
Mayor Erin Stewart the decision is one of several taken to mitigate the spread of the new coronavirus.
City Hall is scheduled to reopen to the public April 21.
However, that date is still subject to health officials.
Stewart says once City Hall reopens, citizens will be directed to Room 108.
Additionally, microphoned glass service windows have been installed in first floor offices for added protection.
