(WTIC-AM) -- There were no injuries in a minor brush fire in Grany today.
The fire was near Mountain Road.
About two or three acres burned, according to Granby Police.
There were no injuries.
At 2:30 pm, fire crews were wrapping up their work.
Wooded areas in Connecticut are often prone to minor fires in the spring, when there is no leaf cover on trees, allowing full sun to heat and dry out the leaves on the ground from the previous fall that have yet to decay.
