(Norwich, Conn./WTIC) - Norwich police are charging a city man after a 23-year-old man died from a drug overdose earlier this summer.

Investigators say on July 8, officers were called to two separate locations for drug overdoses, including the fatality.

Police say 31-year-old Simon Jeudy turned out to be the supplier of the narcotics.

The individuals were attempting to purchase cocaine and receive fentanyl in return and ended up ingesting that.

Jeudy is facing charges of sale of nacotics.

He's being held on $200,000 bond.
