NEW HAVEN, CT (WTIC Radio)_ State Police are investigating an officer involved shooting in New Haven.
Undercover officers in New Haven went to serve an active arrest warrant on 22-year-old Marcus Rivera of New Haven around 5:44 p.m. on Tuesday.
Rivera allegedly led police in a foot pursuit.
Authorities say that, at one point, Rivera was apprehended but managed to flee from officers again.
During the second pursuit, State Police report that an exchange of gunfire between Rivera and officers resulting in a gunshot wound to Rivera's pelvis area.
He was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition.
No officers were injured in the incident.
