(Coventry, Conn./WTIC) - Police in Coventry are investigating an early morning crash that left one person dead.
The call came in around 4:00 a.m. to the area of Boston Turnpike and Lathrop Drive.
Police and firefighters arrived on scene to find a victim who'd been ejected from a vehicle suffering severe injuries.
The victim was rushed to Hartford Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The area was closed to traffic for several hours but has since reopened.
The person's name has not been released.
