ELLINGTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ An elderly man is expected to be okay after a hard skydiving landing in Ellington.
The Ellington Fire Department says LifeStar airlifed the 74-year-old man to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. He was skydiving in a Monday afternoon program at the Connecticut Parachutist Inc. out of Ellington Airport.
Each year, officials say there are usually several accidents with minor injuries.
