(GROTON,Conn./WTIC Radio) - Groton Police have released the name of the man found dead following a 17 hour standoff Tuesday into Wednesday at a residence on Orion Avenue.35 year old James Bangura, who lived in the home, died of a gunshot wound to the torso. The death has been ruled a suicide.
Groton Police Detectives continue to investigate the possibility of law enforcement personnel being fired upon by Bangura during the incident.
