(Hamden, Conn./WTIC) - Quinnipiac University is out with plans for the fall 2020 semester following this spring's COVID-19 shutdown.

University officials say they will welcome students back to campus while, at the same time, continuing some online instruction, as well.

Beginning August 10 through 23, students will be allowed to begin dropping off belongings in their rooms.

Classes will start online August 24 and there will be classes on Labor Day this year.

One other change: students will not return to campus after the Thanksgiving break.

Rather, beginning November 24, the last two weeks of classes, office hours, and finals will be completed online.
