Reported Losses after Stop and Shop Strike

(WTIC Radio)_ Stop and Shop's parent company, Ahold Delhaize, is reporting big losses in the wake of a recently-ended strike in Southern New England.

The 11-day strike brought on by Stop and Shop workers caused a loss of more than $200-million in sales and more than $100-million in profits.

Some 31,000 unionized workers in Connecticut, Massachusettes, and Rhode Island are holding contract ratification votes this week.
