NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) -- New Haven Police say a victim suffered gunshot wounds in a section of the Elm City Sunday afternoon.
Police responded to the scene around 2:30 p.m., in the area of Kesington Street at Edgewood Avenue. They found the victim with injuries to his left buttocks and near the groin area.
The victim was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition.
Police also said two .22 caliber gun shell cases were found at the scene. So far, no arrests have been made.
