(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - Add Rhode Island to the list of states that have been added to Connecticut's travel advisory in this period of COVID-19.
The Ocean State has seen an uptick in cases of coronavirus recently.
As a result, Governor Lamont says it will be added to the list, which now totals 35, including Puerto Rico.
People traveling to Connecticut from states that have a positivity rate of 10 per 100,000 are required to self-quarantine for 14 days.
That also includes states that have a rate of 10-percent or higher over a rolling seven-day average.
Rhode Island so far is the only New England state on that list.
Deleware and the District of Columbia have been removed from the list.
The full list of states under the travel advisory is as follows:
Alaska Alabama Arkansas Arizona California Florida Georgia Iowa Idaho Illinois Indiana Kansas Kentucky Louisiana Maryland Minnesota Missouri Mississippi Montana North Carolina North Dakota Nebraska New Mexico Nevada Ohio Oklahoma Puerto Rico Rhode Island South Carolina Tennessee Texas Utah Virginia Washington Wisconsin
