(New Haven, Conn./WTIC) - Police in New Haven are investigating after they say someone was shot early this morning.
A little after midnight, detectives responded to Yale New Haven Hospital on a report of a 34-year-old Derby resident having walked in for treatment from a gunshot wound.
The victim is now in stable condition.
No word yet on a motive or any suspect.
The police department's Bureau of Identification and Major Crimes Unit are heading the investigation.
