(Cromwell, Conn./WTIC) - No injuries when state police say individuals in two vehicles exchanged gunfire along Route 9 on Sunday.
It was a little before 1030 when those in a white and red sedan began firing at one another on the exit 19 off ramp southbound.
Troopers say the bullets struck a third vehicle carrying children.
They say it doesn't appear to have been a random act, rather a case of road rage.
One of the cars was seen speeding on to Route 372 southbound in Cromwell.
