
(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - Governor Lamont has upped the number of states with high COVID-19 infection rates covered in a regional travel advisory to 16.
That advisory, in concert with New York and New Jersey, went into effect last Wednesday.
It requires those traveling to Connecticut from the states in question to voluntarily quarantine for two weeks.
The states covered in the advisory are as follows:
Alabama Arkansas Arizona California Florida Georgia Iowa Idaho Louisiana Mississippi North Carolina Nevada South Carolina Tennessee Texas Utah
The advisory applies top those coming from states whose rates of positivity are more then ten per 100,000 residents or those states with positivity rates of ten percent or higher over a seven-day rolling average.
