STAFFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Connecticut State Police are investigating a gas station robbery in the Town of Stafford.
A white man around 30 years-of-age entered the Sara Mart Gas Station on West Stafford Road around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday and demanded money from the cashier. State Police say the suspect lifted his New England Patriots hooded sweatshirt to show a silver pistol tucked in his waist band.
The suspect took approximately $200.00 before fleeing on foot where he headed north on Route 32 towards Monson, MA.
