BERLIN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - A middle school student was struck by a vehicle in Berlin Monday morning.
Police say the boy, who attends McGee Middle School, was struck around 6:45 a.m. in the 200 block of High Road.
The boy was conscious but had some bumps and bruises, said police. He was taken to Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, with what they describe as non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with investigators.
Police say the boy was not in a crosswalk when he was hit.
