SUFFIELD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Suffield police have identified the man killed in a head-on crash between a car and a dump truck on Mountain Road Thursday.Police say Ronald Roy, 61, of West Springfield, Mass. was pronounced dead after the car he was driving crossed into oncoming traffic and hit the dump truck near the Massachusetts state line shortly before 4 p.m.
Roy was driving a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis, said police. The dump truck was operated by a 70-year-old man from Springfield, Mass.Anyone who witnessed the crash is urged to contact Suffield police at 860-668-3870.
