WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTIC) - West Haven Police have arrested three suspects after responding to reports of a robbery involving firearms.
Units responded to the area of 75 Claudia Drive around 4:02 Sunday afternoon where upon arrival, they located the three reported suspects and the three victims related to the incident (one juvenile). The three reported suspects are Anthony John Campbell (19), Anthony Waterman (18) and Osiris Muhammad (18) - all Hartford residents.
Firearms were reported to have been displayed during the incident, however, no shots were reported, nor were any firearm related injuries reported.
Located in the suspect's vehicle were numerous hand guns (two reported stolen), a long rife (assault style with high capacity magazines) and illegal drugs along with items belonging to the victims. With the help from neighboring agencies (UNH PD/Orange PD), this potentially volatile incident was quickly resolved with three arrests, the seizure of numerous firearms and no serious injuries to anyone involved in the incident.
The three individuals arrested were charged with a myriad of offenses including Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Threatening, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Larceny, Interfering with Police and Breach of Peace.
Campbell, Waterman and Muhammad were all processed and held on bond.
