
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ West Hartford Police arrest a 36-year-old man who allegedly broke into two West Hartford homes around 6 p.m. Monday evening.
Police say a 12-year-old boy called 911, thinking there may be an intruder inside his family's home on North Quaker Lane. The boy heard a door opening and closing, as well as rummaging through some cabinets and drawers.
When Officers arrived, they learned of another break in on nearby Auburn Road. There, a resident pinned the suspect, 36-year-old Andrew Harris, to the ground. Police were able to take Harris into custody without incident.
Harris is being held on bond. He faces several burglary-related charges and a risk of injury to a minor charge.
West Hartford Police are investigating.
