(Storrs, Conn./WTIC) - A member of the UConn men's basketball team is facing charges connected to what the university is calling an on-campus vehicular incident last month.
Freshman James Bouknight is charged.
The school says the 19-year-old shooting guard was charged with evading responsibility, interfering with police, traveling too fast for conditions, and operating a motor vehicle without a license in the September 27 incident.
Coach Dan Hurley says they'll deal with the matter internally "as it pertains to basketball".
Bouknight is due in court October 29.
