BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ The Bloomfield man who allegedly assaulted on his father last month was arrested in Stamford on Sunday.
Bloomfield Police say 34-year-old Anthony Bussey allegedly assaulted his father on Glenwood Avenue in Bloomfield on Sunday, May 12, and fled the scene.
Authorities found the 60-year-old with a broken arm, unresponsive, and bleeding heavily from the head. He later died at Saint Francis Hospital.
Bussey faces a charge of assault in the first degree on an elderly person.
He is being held by Bloomfield Police on a $500,000 bond.
