DERBY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - A person has been hospitalized after falling from a railroad bridge into the Housatonic River Sunday night, and spending the night on a bridge support.Firefighters say the person was rescued around 10:30 a.m. Monday and taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital. There is no word on the patient's condition.Three firefighters were taken to Griffin Hospital for evaluation for exposure to the cold.
