(Windsor Locks, Conn./WTIC) - A West Hartford woman is facing charges after State Police say she created a disturbance Thursday aboard a Spirit Airlines jet bound for Fort Myers, Florida.
Around 4:00 p.m., troopers were dispatched to a Spirit Airlines plane where they found 59-year-old Sandra Cohen in her seat.
A Spirit supervisor told troopers that Cohen was cursing, irate, and grabbed an attendant.
The supervisor informed troopers that Cohen's right to fly aboard the aircraft had been revoked.
When they arrived, police say Cohen was confrontational and failed to leave the aircraft.
She was then cuffed and taken off the plane, later charged with interfering/resisting, disorderly conduct and trespass.
Cohen posted a $5,000 bond. She's due in court in Enfield December 27.
