(Milford, Conn./WTIC) - Milford police are charging a West Haven resident with falsely using a credit card they say she swiped from a restaurant where she worked.
Police on Tuesday arrested 27-year-old Dialix Mejia.
Detectives say she was working at an Outback Steakhouse in Orange back in December when she allegedly took a customer's credit card information unbeknownst to that customer.
Police say Mejia then used the card to make a $400 dollar purchase at a Target store on the Boston Post Road in Milford.
Mejia is charged with larceny and theft of a credit card.
She is free pending an appearance in superior court March 17.
