(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - Those opposed to placing tolls on Connecticut highways are turning out for a rally today at the state capitol.
The group No Tolls CT is holding the gathering to drive home their anti-toll stance.
The group earlier this month delivered petition signatures totaling 100-thousand to Governor Ned Lamont's office in opposition.
Lamont campaigned on a promise toll only tractor trailer trucks but reversed field earlier this year, saying considerably more money is needed to fix the state's aged transportation infrastructure.
The rally gets underway at noon.
