NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTIC) - Police say it was a tree that foiled a 19-year-old city man's getaway, after he was caught joyriding on an ATV in a park in New Britain.
According to New Britain Police, Jakub Beilawski was doing donuts and burnouts in Stanley Quarter Park on Sunday. He reportedly fled when officers tried to catch him, only to get stuck on a tree branch.
Beilawski faces charges including reckless driving and driving without a license.
