NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTIC) - A partnership between the Connecticut Airport Authority and Tweed New Haven Airport may be in the offing.
Airport Authority Executive Director Kevin Dillon says talks are underway.
"How is that coordination best carried out? Is it simply that we just talk a lot more about what our plans and activities are, or do we enter into an operating agreement and actually operate the airport on behalf of the city of New Haven? Or is there a potential acquisition of the airport in our future?"
The number of daily commercial departures at Tweed has never topped five. Currently American Airlines is its only commercial carrier.
