(Berlin, Conn./WTIC) - Power restoration efforts continue across the state in wake of Monday's windstorm.
At Eversource, officials say they expect the vast majority of their customers to be back online by later tonight.
In some areas of eastern Connecticut, it may take a bit longer, said spokesman Mitch Gross.
He said crews are finding much more favorable conditions in which to work today as opposed to Monday, where wind gusts topped 60-miles-per-hour in some parts.
Gross said they receiving an assist from crews from Long Island and North Carolina.
