(Storrs, Conn./WTIC) - The UConn men's basketball team will be without it's top scorer for the foreseeable future.
The school says senior guarad Jalen Adams has a Grade-2+ MCL sprain in his left knee and is expected to be out 4-to-6 weeks.
Adams was injured in the first half of the Huskies game against Temple on Wednesday, an 81-63 loss.
An MRI on Thursday confirmed the diagnosis.
The Roxbury, Massachusetts native is averaging 17 points per game this season.
The 13-10 Huskies next play at Memphis on Sunday.
