Waterbury Police Searching for Wanted Man

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTIC) – Waterbury Police are searching for 18-year old Gabriel Ramos for his role in a shooting on May 18th.

At 10:09 p.m., Police were called to a Chestnut Avenue home to investigate a report of gunshots.  The home was hit by gunfire and one projectile passed through two walls and became lodged in the wall of a nursery.

No occupants inside the house were injured and several empty shell casings were found in the roadway of Chestnut Avenue.

After an investigation, officials identified Ramos as a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with Illegal Discharge of a Firearm, Illegal Carry of Pistol without a Permit, Reckless Endangerment and Criminal Mischief.

His last known address is in the apartment complex of 150 Manhan Street in Waterbury.
