WATERTOWN, Conn. (WTIC) – Watertown Police have arrested Robert Harrison for Criminal Attempt at Larceny in the first degree.
That arrest stemmed from an incident on April 2nd, where Harrison allegedly ran up to a female’s vehicle and attempted to open the driver’s door at an Oakville residence in the Davis Street neighborhood. The female victim laid on the horn, at which point Harrison ran to a Toyota that was waiting for him on the street.
The victim followed the Toyota, but later lost it. She returned to the residence and called police.
Shortly after, the Toyota drove past her residence again, at which point she noticed a smartphone in her driveway, which police believe was dropped by Harrison.
An investigation and subsequent search warrant for the phone identified Harrison as the suspect. Harrison was processed and issued a $10,000 bond, which he posted.
His court date is set for May 14th at the Waterbury Superior Court.
