Dr. Se-Jin Lee of The Jackson Laboratory and UConn Health is a leading researcher in muscle development, and serves as a joint faculty member at The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine and UConn Health. Mice from CT are headed to space on a health mission starting December 4th. This 40-day space mission will help scientists understand more about bone and muscle loss in both astronauts and those of us on Earth who suffer from muscle wasting conditions such as ALS and cancer... not to mention general aging concerns. Dr. Lee explains more about this project.
