Brian Jessurun, co-owner with his brother Barry of the Green Valley Hospitality group in the northeast corner of the state, joined us to discuss a bill vetoed by the governor that would have protected restaurants from a series of lawsuits based on bad state regulation. There was talk of an override today, but word is the unions prevailed in arm-twisting Democrats in leaving the risk to restaurant jobs in place.
