A crowd of about 1,300-- one quarter capacity-- was allowed to attend the home opener of the Hartford Athletic soccer club. The crowd represents a milestone during the deadly COVID-19 pandemic: with Connecticut's positive test rate hovering at around 1%, officials in the state and the City of Hartford gave the go-ahead for crowd admissions under stringent public health guidelines. It's the first game of note in Hartford since the pandemic was first declared, in March.
