(Meriden, Conn./WTIC) - Meriden police are investigating a double homicide.
Early this morning, just before 1:00, officers were dispatched to the scene where they say an active and violent altercation was taking place.
Upon arrival, they found 56-year-old Kevin Burch on the front porce of a residence at 76 Lincoln Street suffering from stab wounds.
Once inside, a second male, 38-year-old Corneilus Nicolson of Wallingford and a female, 41-year-old Tania Roman of that Meriden address were discovered.
Police say Nicolson appeared to be dead at the scene; Roman was rushed to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Detectives say early indications are that Nicolson may have been the aggressor.
