(Plainfield, Conn./WTIC) - An arrest has been made in connection with an investigation into child pornography and human trafficking being conducted by Plainfield Police.
The probe was launched in January.
Plainfield officers say a 14-year-old reported receiving threats from a Putnam resident for failing to provide inappropriate images that were being sold for money.
Putnam police executing a warrant say an individual in the home was uncooperative. He was later identified as 18-year-old Jaden Williams.
He was subsequently arrested and charged with interfering with police.
Putnam police seized several electronic devices tied to the Plainfield probe.
The incident remains under investigation.
