Hartford, Conn. WTIC)-Residents looking to enroll in Access Health CT, the state's health insurance marketplace, have two weeks remaining.
The deadline is the 15th.
Marketing Director Andrea Ravitz says interest is strong and growing. She acknowledges enrollment numbers are similar to the past.
"We knew because of the current situation, a lot of individuals wanted to get help virtually or do it themselves at our website acess health ct. com. So what we are seeing is hundreds of people coming to our enrollment locations but not the thousands we have seen in the past."
Ravitz declared for those that have signed up for private plans or low-cost or free coverage " you see a pretty robust number of individuals who have come through the enrollment period."
She emphasized if you lose coverage because of job loss after the 15th, you can still purchase insurance if it falls within a 60-day period of losing your coverage.
