(North Haven, Conn. WTIC)-This week is expected to be active weather-wise and that means snow budgets will have to be adjusted accordingly.
North Haven First Selectman Michael Freda says 55-percent of his town's budget year has elapsed.
Already they've used 75 percent of the snow budget. So Freda says likely this week, the snow budget will be exceeded.
Freda tells WTIC News budgets are examined on a monthly basis and some line items will fall under what is budgeted,
So that's where ground can be made up. He says this process is nothing new, because the town experiences it every year.
On the positive side, Freda says the town has a good supply of sand and salt.
