
CONNECTICUT (WTIC radio)- Fire crews kept busy on Saturday battling brush fires in parts of Connecticut all brought on by prolonged dry weather with low humidity. The risk of dangerous brush fires was high this weekend with brush fires reported in East Hartford, Lisbon, and Canton.
Fortunately the fires causing little or no damage with no injuries reported. Officials reminding people to use caution with fire pits and grills.
Dry weather and the lack of rain has caused wildfires to spread through many parts of the United States.
