FARMINGTON, Connecticut (WTIC radio)
Connecticut Foodshare says that anyone in need of food assistance should visit their local food pantry or a mobile food pantry for assistance. CEO Jason Jakubowski says Foodshare has seen an increase in demand in the last month. It's important to note that food is not distributed to individuals at Foodshare’s facilities in Wallingford and Bridgeport. Those two facilities are used for getting food to local food pantries and mobile food pantries, who then distribute that food to individuals. The easiest way to learn more is to call 211.
