(Meriden, Conn./WTIC) - Police in Meriden are investigating a fatal, late night motorcycle crash in the city.
Officers say around 11:00 last night, they along with emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene near 809 Hanover Road.
Upon arrival they found the victim, identified as 25-year-old Joshua Stefanko of Berlin.
He had sustained traumatic injuries, according to police and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say their preliminary investigation found Stefanko lost control of the bike as he negotiated a slight right curve in the roadway.
The bike then crossed the double yellow line, sliding across the road and hitting a stone wall.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact Meriden police.
