It appears New York State is the only state standing in the way of lower energy prices for Connecticut and New England.
President Trump and New York Governor Kathy Hochul met on Thursday in Washington for discussions which included a gas pipeline that could reportedly cut energy costs across New England by $1 billion dollars

The so-called Constitution pipeline could have been feeding natural gas for the last five years, however none ever flowed through the pipeline because of environmental concerns. Hochul has been under pressure to reconsider turning on the valve which would send natural gas from Pennsylvania and help lower energy bills for customers.

President Trump posting on Truth Social says that opening the pipeline could save customers in Connecticut from $2,500 to $5,000 thousand dollars a year depending on whether they heat with gas.

President Trump adds “Every other State in New England, plus Connecticut, wants this, in order to help the Environment, and save big money. We only need the final approval from New York State, whose people all want it.”
